Robert Boucai
Co-Founder & Chairman
Prior to co-founding Newbrook Capital Properties, in 2006 Mr. Boucai founded and is CIO of Newbrook Capital Advisors, managing long/short and long-only equity funds, with peak AUM in excess of $2 billion. Prior to founding NCA, from 2001 to 2005 Mr. Boucai was a Managing Director at Karsch Capital covering the TMT, real estate, lodging and gaming sectors. From 2000 to 2001 Mr. Boucai was an Associate in the Private Investment Department at Morgan Stanley. From 1997 to 2000 Mr. Boucai was an Analyst in Blackstone Group’s Real Estate Private Equity Group analyzing and executing investments in real estate-related business and real estate assets, including multifamily, office, hospitality, and industrial properties. Mr. Boucai received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
Prior to co-founding Newbrook Capital Properties, Mr. Broyer was President of Multifamily Investments at JRK Property Holdings, an NMHC top 50 owner and acquirer of multifamily properties, and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Broyer joined JRK in 2012 and was involved in the acquisition and disposition of over $6 billion in multifamily properties, comprising 36,000 units, and as head of the investment division, Mr. Broyer was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and financing all new acquisitions and managing the disposition of all assets. Prior to joining JRK, Mr. Broyer worked at Boston Capital Real Estate Partners where he focused on multifamily acquisitions. Mr. Broyer graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting.
Mr. Reed has been CFO of Newbrook Capital Advisors since 2006, overseeing an SEC-registered firm with peak assets of over $2 billion and 15 employees. Mr. Reed has extensive experience in fund accounting, tax, employment, compliance, and organizational matters. Prior to joining NCA in June 2006, Mr. Reed was an Audit Partner and Managing Director at Goldstein Golub Kessler where he had worked for 23 years. Mr. Reed received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John’s University in 1983.
